Some people keep getting stuck in similar situations repeatedly and do not know why. At a closer look, this iterative behaviour resembles a carefully designed algorithm so that nothing goes wrong to achieve the same undesirable result. Many explain away the outcome to events, factors beyond their influence, personal choices or the behaviour of others. Some seek to flee or attribute some benevolent cause to their own reactions. The result in most cases is inertia and an undesirable situation, an intense frustration i.e. an inner conflict: a vehement rejection of the current situation and at the same time compulsive inability to move ahead and question their own influence on the outcome of events.
